COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Updates

Morning & Evening Worship and all activities and meetings will not be held in person until at least June 14. You can find a link to a recorded morning worship service and an evening mediation for SUNDAY, May 31, at The services are recorded and may be watched at your convenience. Links to other services that are streamed live are provided at the bottom of this webpage. There are, however, certain benefits of being at church that are simply not possible via technology, a good reminder to us as church members that there is more to church than hearing a sermon. The most important part of worship is not listening to God’s Word or responding in prayer and praise but listening to God’s Word and responding in prayer and praise together. However, due to the current health circumstances, gathering together is not advised and the community of believers simply cannot be reproduced online. Thankfully, there is an older technology available for communication—the Telephone.  Thus, as this Lord’s Day approaches, make plans not just to watch a streamed worship service, but also to contact other members of our community of faith via the telephone to check in on one another, encourage one another, and even pray together, especially those who do not have internet access. We continue to pray for God’s grace and mercy upon our world, that He might limit the spread of this virus and that we might use the opportunities created by this virus to proclaim the good news of Christ crucified and risen again for the forgiveness of sin.

The Telephone is also a useful tool to join us for Wednesday Devotions and Prayer. Simply pick up the phone at 7 p.m. and dial (844) 855-4444. When prompted, enter code 381741. Introduce yourself after the tone so everyone knows you are a part of the call. We may not be together physically, but at least we can hear one another and gather for prayer.

Many have asked how they might be able to send in their tithes and offerings to Westminster when we cannot physically gather. Checks may still be Mailed to the church office, 2216 Peters Creek Road. Online Electronic Giving has also been set up through the PCA Foundation at Bank drafts are free, Credit Cards may be charged a fee by the credit card provider.
