A NEW START

We are thrilled to be welcoming Brooks Cain and his wife Riva to Westminster beginning June 19th.  The following is a note from Brooks about his plan for our youth this summer:

I am so excited about the opportunity to spend time with students at WPC this summer!  My goal for us is simple: to enjoy getting to know Jesus and one another more.  Toward that end, the plan is to have a weekly Discipleship Group (D-group) where we’ll share a meal together, play some games, and spend time in prayer and God’s word.  It’s an opportunity to talk about how the gospel speaks into our everyday struggles, to care for one another, and to express our cares to God.  On top of that, I want us to just have fun together regularly on a hike, or go-kart race, or watching a Salem Redsox game.  We’ll even have some opportunities to serve the tutoring kids that many of you already know and love.  If you are a parent or adult interested in hosting an event, please let me know (423-290-4115).  It’s such a blessing to be a part of what God is doing at Westminster and I look forward to what he’s going to do this summer!   ~ Brooks
