Small Groups

The purpose of small groups is to foster spiritual growth in each member, and closer fellowship within the church.  Our ultimate goal is to better model a Christ-like attitude in love and service both in our church and in our community.

The members of each group (usually between 8 and 12 adults) meet either weekly or bimonthly to pray and discuss scriptural topics which are relevant to spiritual growth.  Each group is also asked to consider a service in the commmunity that it can give “in the name of Christ,” in obedience to Matthew 5:16: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Because the groups provide a safe place to speak and pray openly, new members usually enter groups only in January and September.
